Who’s eligible?
Children must be medically stable and need ongoing skilled nursing care prescribed by their primary physician. We can talk through the requirements and next steps with you.
What insurances are accepted?
Superhero Kids PPEC services are fully covered at no cost for eligible approved children covered by Medicaid (CMS Molina, Sunshine, Humana, Community Care Plan and Simply). Our team helps you confirm coverage and gather the enrollment documents.
Do you have transportation services?
Yes. We help arrange transportation for eligible children. Ask us about rides from home or school.
What is a PPEC?
A Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care Center provides non-residential medical care for eligible children with medically complex conditions. Superhero Kids is licensed by the Agency for Health Care Administration and serves families in Palm Beach County.
Does my child qualify?
We serve children from birth through age 20 whose medical needs require ongoing skilled nursing care prescribed by their primary care physician. Children must be medically stable. Our team can help you understand eligibility and the enrollment process.
Who will be caring for my child?
Our medical team includes a Medical Director, Director of Nursing, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses and certified nursing assistants. Services and therapies follow your child’s physician-prescribed plan of care.
